Most small offices have no IT support at all.

Not bad support. None. They have a bookkeeper who is good with computers, a nephew, and a folder of passwords in a spreadsheet. PriceMe exists for them.

The managed IT industry priced itself out of this market on purpose. At $150 to $200 per person per month, a nine-person company is looking at eighteen thousand dollars a year to have somebody patch Windows and reset passwords. So they do not buy it, and they carry the risk themselves until something breaks badly enough to hurt.

We think the reason that price exists is coverage nobody in a nine-person company actually uses. A phone line staffed for the hours nobody rings. A van and a field engineer, priced into every seat whether or not anyone visits. An on-call rota for the two-in-the-morning outage that never comes.

So we took all of it out. A flat rate per person, chat only, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 6:00pm ET, remote only. Everything that is left is priced separately and listed in public, so the small number is not paid for by a surprise later.

It is a smaller product than an MSP, and we say so on every page. The thing we will not do is dress it up as a full service and then be vague when somebody needs the part we quietly left out.

Who this is not for

We put this on the site rather than discovering it together in month two.

A good fit if

  • Between 5 and 60 people, mostly on laptops
  • Email on Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace
  • Nobody in-house whose actual job is IT
  • Problems that are annoying rather than catastrophic
  • Happy to type instead of phone someone

That is most small offices. Price yours in the builder and the number is the number, with no discovery call in between.

Buy something else if

  • You need somebody reachable at 2am or on a Sunday
  • Your work stops entirely when one machine does
  • A rack of servers that needs watching, not just patching
  • Regulated data with an audit that names your provider
  • You want the same engineer to know you by name

Any of these and you want a full managed provider rather than this. We would rather tell you that here than sell you something that does not fit and have you find out in month two.

What happens when you outgrow this

Some companies will. Once there are servers that need watching rather than patching, or an audit that names your provider, or somebody genuinely needs help at two in the morning, this is the wrong product and no amount of add-ons fixes that.

The team behind PriceMe does full managed IT as well, so growing into it is a conversation rather than a migration. Nothing gets rebuilt and nobody re-audits your environment from scratch.

If you never outgrow it, the flat plan is not a trial that expires. It is just the plan. And if you arrive already needing the full thing, we will say so on the call instead of selling you this.
